Project Information Atlantic CoastWatch, a project of the Sustainable Development Institute, endeavors to consolidate and re-distribute information relevant for the needs of activists and decisionmakers living between Nova Scotia and the eastern Caribbean. The bimonthly Atlantic CoastWatch newsletter provides briefs of the people, places, issues and innovations shaping and improving this changing coastal region. Coastal News Nuggets average between 300-500 headlines per week, and are provided online with links to sources. While the Newsletter provides a concise bimonthly review, News Nuggets delivers a detailed daily accounting of the many factors affecting this coastlines' ecology and future All services of Atlantic CoastWatch are provided free, while fundng is separately soliticited by the Sustainable Development Institute from charitable individuals and organizations. Atlantic CoastWatch operates independently of other environmental non-governmental organizations, whether vis funding or affiliation.
